Over our 40 years in Alaska, Northern Economics has worked extensively in the industries that have been major economic engines for the state, such as aviation, mining, fisheries, ports and harbors, and tourism. We have also assisted state and municipal governmental entities, and community development corporations with a wide range of projects focused on improving services for citizens and maximizing budgets.
Our work also includes resource and environmental economics, regulatory studies, and environmental valuation—areas of study which have seen increasing emphasis over recent years.
Our work in these areas has extended beyond Alaska to regions and communities around the nation.
