Ouzinkie Initial Feasibility Analysis and Business Planning

This project consists of conducting initial feasibility assessments of potential businesses that would be directly linked to the redevelopment of the City of Ouzinkie’s dock. The dock redevelopment plan would make it possible for ferries to call at Ouzinkie and would create an “uplands” area that could be used for marine related uses. The business concepts examined in this study included a seafood processing facility, and a boat haulout and repair facilities, as well as the potential for the dock to be used by the ferries and other large passenger vessels.
